The USA Baseball Online Education Center provides online training courses and programs focused on key aspects of the game of baseball for players, parents, coaches and umpires. The Online Education Center offers many health and safety resources including the free Introduction to Pitch Smart course -- hosted by Hall of Famer John Smoltz -- which aims to explain the principles behind Pitch Smart, a joint arm care initiative between Major League Baseball and USA Baseball.

Play Sun Smart

Major League Baseball, USA Baseball and all 30 MLB clubs promote sun safety and raise awareness of skin cancer through the Play Sun Smart initiative. Play Sun Smart is a joint effort by Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) and the American Academy of Dermatology to raise awareness of skin cancer and offer prevention and detection tips to the baseball community.
