Thank you very much for your interest in USA Baseball and the 2013 USA Baseball 14U, 15U and 17U National Team Championships! Through these National Team Championships, USA Baseball will now be able to provide an opportunity for nearly 300 teams to showcase their ability against teams from all across the country as well as provide opportunities for players to be considered for both the 15U National Team and 14U and 17U National Team Development Programs.

The 14U, 15U and 17U USA Baseball National Team Championships - West will be held in Glendale, Peoria and Goodyear, Ariz. (14U: 52 teams/15U: 60 teams/17U: 64 teams), the 14U and 17U National Team Championships - East will  be held in Palm Beach County, Fla. (17U: 48 teams/14U: 24 teams), the 15U National Team Championships - East will again take place in Fort Myers, Fla. (36 teams),

USA Baseball 14U National Team Championships information

When:

West: June 30-July 5, 2013

East: June 18-23, 2013

Where: The 14U National Team Championships - East will be in Palm Beach County, Fla., at the Spring Training homes of the Cardinals/Marlins and at the Santaluces Complex. The 14U National Team Championships - West will be in Glendale, Peoria and Goodyear, Ariz., at the Spring Training homes of the White Sox/Dodgers, Padres/Mariners and Indians/Reds.

Roster Limits: Minimum of 15 players, maximum of 25 players

Age Limit: May 1, 1998 (oldest birth date of eligible participant)*

National Team Development Program Exposure: Minimum of 38 players will be invited to the 14U National Team Development Program**

Schedule: Minimum of six scheduled games, weather permitting; four games guaranteed

Cost: $2,000** ($500 deposit due with application and $1,500 team fee due by May 14 for the East and by May 23 for the West.)

* Players born May 1, 1998, or later are eligible to compete in the 14U National Team Championships. Please note, however, that only players born Jan. 1, 1999, or later will be eligible to be selected to the 14U National Team Development Program. As such, USA Baseball requires that at least six players on each team's roster be born on or after this international age cutoff (1999).

** Hotel Information: Teams that use USA Baseball's free housing service, USA Baseball Travel Services, will be eligible to receive a $500 rebate check. To qualify for the $500 rebate check, teams must accumulate at least 25 room nights (i.e. five rooms for five nights, etc). USA Baseball 15U National Team Championships information

When:

West: June 21-29, 2013

East: June 12-20, 2013

Where: The 15U National Team Championships - East will be in Fort Myers, Fla., at Terry Park and the Red Sox 5 Plex. The 15U National Team Championships - West will be in Glendale, Peoria and Goodyear, Ariz., at the Spring Training homes of the White Sox/Dodgers, Padres/Mariners and Indians/Reds.

Roster Limits: Minimum of 15 players, maximum of 25 players

Age Limit: May 1, 1997 (oldest birth date of eligible participant)*

National Team Exposure: Minimum of 22 players will be invited to the 15U National Team Trials

Schedule: Minimum of seven scheduled games, weather permitting; five games guaranteed

Cost: $2,500** ($500 deposit due with application and $2,000 team fee due by May 14 for the East and by May 23 for the West)

The 2013 USA Baseball 15U National Team will be selected primarily from the pool of more than 2,400 participants in the USA Baseball 15U National Team Championships. A minimum of 22 out of the 40 total invites to the 2013 USA Baseball 15U National Team Trials will come from the National Team Championships. The final 15U National Team will be selected out of the Trials, which will be held July 13-19 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C., before the team competes internationally in the COPABE Pan American Games.
