CARY, N.C. -- Parker Johnson went 6 2/3 innings and didn't allow an earned run, and Logan Allen came on to record the final out as T.C. Roberson (N.C.) beat Grayson (Ga.), 2-1, in the National High School Invitational.

Johnson, a senior right-hander committed to Wake Forest, struck out nine and walked three. He gave up an unearned run in the first before shutting Grayson down the rest of the way.

T.C. Roberson has won two straight since losing its tournament opener against Bingham (Utah).

Lexington (S.C.) 2, Cathedral Catholic 1: A throwing error on a sacrifice bunt scored the Wildcats' Nick Ciuffo from first base in the sixth, providing the winning margin in a pitchers' duel.        

Brady Aiken was the hard-luck loser for the Dons, giving up two runs, neither earned, in a complete game. The UCLA commitment struck out 14.

Christian Brothers (Tenn.) 9, Florida Christian 2: The Purple Wave rallied from a 2-0 deficit with nine unanswered runs to beat the Patriots. 

Chris Carrier drove in three runs with a triple, and Daniel Shaw gave up five hits in a complete game. 

Milton Ramos had two hits for Florida Christian.

Hamilton (Ariz.) 11, Tullahoma (Tenn.) 1 (5 innings): Tyler Erwin scattered five hits over five innings and Cody Bellinger drove in three runs as the Huskies routed the Wildcats.

Skyler Palermo, Zach Strand and Tyler Hill had two hits each for Hamilton.

Jenks 3, Eustis 2: Trevor Wilkinson scored the winning run on a throwing error in the top of the seventh and Alan Beer pitched a complete-game five-hitter for the Trojans.

Bingham (Utah) 2, Milton (Ga.) 2 (tie): The Miners and the Eagles played 11 innings, the final six of them scoreless, before declaring the game a draw. Erik Petersen was 4-for-4 for Milton, and Lance Harrison pitched 6 2/3 innings of scoreless relief for Bingham.
