Blackwell Street success
USA Baseball and the Durham Bulls -– located within the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Blackwell Street in Durham, N.C. -- had many reasons to celebrate in 2009. Seiler elected, Smoak honored at IBAF Congress
USA Baseball Executive Director/CEO Paul Seiler was elected to the IBAF's Executive Committee as 1st Member at Large, and first baseman Justin Smoak was named the international federation's Senior Athlete of the Year the Rangers phenom's MVP performance at the IBAF Baseball World Cup in Europe in September.
