U.S. 3-0 in Pan Am Qualifying Tournament
The USA Baseball Pan American Qualifying Team - led by six prospects from the Kansas City Royals organization - opened up competition in Puerto Rico by beating the host country, 7-4, blanking Aruba, 14-0, and topping Colombia, 13-6. USA faces the Dominican Republic in Game 4 tonight at 7:30 p.m. The Pan Am qualifier will run through Oct. 13, with the top eight advancing to the 2011 Pan Am Games. (Brian Fleming Photography)
