Selection Process
USA Baseball, working with Major League Baseball administrators and team personnel, determines the rosters for the World Baseball Classic and other USA Baseball professional teams. Due to the final agreement between MLB and the IBAF/COPABE, preference will be given to those players not on the 40-man rosters of the 30 MLB teams.
